George is a night-owl. Despite the spit-up and boob-longing, the similarities to college-days end there.
Currently he is all swaddled up in a sling on my chest, and soon we'll go do a walk-a-bout as far as the kitchen.
Hopefully no restless natives in there.
Homecoming was very sweet and welcome after a long last day in the hospital. The kids had made welcome-home posters with Nana, and were jumping out of their skin to see us.

First night was rough, we'll leave it at zero sleep.
Since then we have just been working through piles of mail and laundry (Joel), enjoying food delivery courtesy of family and friends, and taking everyone up on activities for Viv & Otto.
Both kids have been exceptionally helpful, adoring, and curious about all things George.
His dr appt today was passed with flying colors, and much to the relief of Vivian, no shots. Everyone (me too) is healthy and doing great. Thanks for all your calls and well-wishes.
You can't see perspective here, but this basket is over 2ft wide- absolutely gigantic, beautiful flowers from Aunt Lurenna
